Careers at Bloom

Bloom is not for everyone.

We're building the definitive talent firm for the green industry and the field services that keep the world running — and we're building it to outlast us. That's hard, deliberate work, and it isn't for everyone. If you want easy, close this tab. If you want to build something special and future-proof, with people who hold the same standard, keep reading.

Our culture, in three words

Outcomes. Not optics.

We reward what you actually move, not hours logged or the show you put on. Bias to action, ownership end to end, and zero patience for bureaucracy or busywork. If it needs doing, you do it — and you do it well, without being asked twice.

Read this before you apply

Most people should not work here — and that's the point. We keep the team small and the bar brutally high, because the operators we serve trust us with the hires that make or break their business. Average doesn't clear that bar.

We move fast, we own our outcomes, and we don't hide behind titles or process. Some weeks are relentless. If that sounds exhausting, it will be. If it sounds like the best work of your life, we should talk.

How we work

The standards we hold each other to.

These are the standards we hire, coach, evaluate, and promote against. They are not posters. If you work here, you will be measured on them.

  1. 01

    Own the Outcome

We take responsibility for our communication, relationships, activity, and results. We act with urgency when speed matters and slow down when judgment matters. We follow through without being chased, raise problems early, and bring solutions rather than excuses.

The outcome is not the placement. The outcome is the right hire, accepted, and still in the seat a year later.

  2. 02

Tell the Truth Early. Stay Human.

We lead with honesty, integrity, empathy, and sincerity. We deliver difficult information as soon as it can help someone make a better decision, set realistic expectations from the first conversation, and never go quiet when the news is bad. We treat every client, candidate, and teammate like a person rather than a transaction.

Nobody who deals with Bloom should ever wonder where they stand.

  3. 03

    Honor the Commitment

We remain committed to the work, the people, and one another. We communicate even when there is no good news, adapt when the first approach fails, protect long-term relationships over short-term wins, and finish what we start.

Our character is revealed when the search gets hard.

  4. 04

    Stay Coachable

We seek feedback, receive it without defensiveness, apply it, and demonstrate growth through changed behavior. We welcome challenge and give it directly, support our thinking with evidence, and commit fully once a decision is made. We remain curious and adaptable regardless of tenure or performance.

The feedback only counts when the behavior changes.

What we're building

A firm built to last, in an industry that isn't going anywhere

The green industry and field services are massive, essential, and badly under-served by the talent world. We're changing that — becoming the firm the best operators trust with their most important people, and building it to still be the answer in twenty years. Not a louder staffing agency. A category of one, engineered to endure.

A standard, not a headcount

We grow by raising the bar, not filling seats. Every hire has to leave the team better than it was.

Proof over promises

We judge talent by what they actually do — the Field Performance Index, not a polished resume. We hold ourselves to the same test.

Built for the long game

We optimize for the reputation we'll have in a decade, not the deal in front of us. Future-proof beats fast.

Who thrives here

There's no personality type. There is a standard. The people who love it here tend to share these.

  • You outwork the room — not to look busy, but because shipping anything average makes your skin crawl.

  • You take ownership like a founder. “That's not my job” isn't in your vocabulary.

  • You'd rather hear the hard truth than a comfortable lie — and you give it the same way, with respect.

  • You're relentless about getting it right for the people counting on you, candidates and clients both.

  • You want to build something you'll be proud of in ten years, not a line on a resume for next year.

And who it's not for

If you need a big team to blend into, a script to follow, or a job that ends at five sharp, you'll be miserable here — and we'll both figure that out fast.

There's no shame in wanting a different kind of role. Plenty of great people want stability and clear lanes. This just isn't that job, and we'd rather be honest now than waste a year of your life.

The deal

What you actually get

Not ping-pong tables and kombucha. The real things — the ones that are almost impossible to find:

Real ownership

A seat where your work visibly moves the business, from early. You'll see your fingerprints on what we build.

Growth at your pace

We promote on proof, fast. If you can carry more, you'll get it — no waiting your turn.

Standards you can be proud of

You'll never have to apologize for the work. We don't ship anything we wouldn't sign our name to.

A stake in something rare

The chance to help build a category-defining firm from the ground up — with upside that comes from building the thing, not maintaining it.

Still here? Good.

That already tells us something. We're not always hiring, and we never hire to fill a seat — only to raise the bar. If you think you're one of the few this was written for, don't send a form letter. Tell us why.

Read this far and mean it? That's exactly who we want to hear from.
